Romans 10: 14-17
In this famous passage, Paul calls attention to the need for listening to the message Jesus Christ has sent into the world. This calls Christians to be careful to give first priority to listening to the "apostolic" teaching kept for us in the Bible. Many Bible studies written by others can be helpful in some ways. Nothing should take the place of studying the Bible in the form that its teachings have been given to us by God's wisdom.
be there in prayer
Paul asks the Christians in Rome to "strive with [him] in prayer" as he perseveres in the good work of carrying relief to the Christians in Judea. In the same way, the work of prayer is a way to be with one another, working together even when many miles separate us.
